Faber COVID-19 Response

To Our Valued Clients and Stakeholders,

There has been a flurry of announcements regarding COVID-19. Measures to contain the spread of the virus continue to evolve and deepen. We find ourselves asking more questions than there are answers. The ways in which our lives will be impacted remains uncertain. We do know the virus presents a significant health and economic threat to Albertans that will impose financial challenges on individuals and businesses alike.

If you or your business is experiencing financial challenges we want you to know that Faber Inc. (“Faber”) is here to offer Albertans honest help from our team of professionals that care. Faber is addressing these unprecedented challenges in ways to protect our clients, stakeholders and team members while maintaining our services.

Faber offices will remain open to serve our clients. However, to keep our clients, stakeholders and team members safe we are providing options in the way our services are delivered.

Here are some of the delivery options we now offer.

Initial Consultations – Our team of Licensed Insolvency Trustee’s will perform initial consultations by telephone. For those clients that prefer an in-person consultation, the consultation will be held in a meeting room with ample space to prevent personal contact and adhere to social distancing.

Document Signing – Our team of Licensed Insolvency Trustee’s will meet with clients in-person to execute all documents. Again, in-person document signing will be held in a meeting room with ample space to prevent personal contact and adhere to social distancing.

Arrangements for remote document signing may be accommodated in extenuating circumstances.

Financial Counselling – Client financial counselling sessions will be conducted by telephone, one on one, by our team of Certified Insolvency Counsellors.

Meeting of Creditors – All meetings of creditors will be conducted by telephone.

Maintaining a Safe Environment – We have adopted stringent protocols to keep our environment safe. All meeting rooms, including tabletops, armchairs and door handles are disinfected following each client meeting. Washroom vanities, interior and exterior door handles are disinfected hourly.

We encourage everyone to follow Alberta Health Services (AHS) protocols for proper hygiene and social distancing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

During these challenging and unprecedented times the entire Faber team reminds Albertans to remain courageous, resilient and kind. Together we will get through this. Brighter days are ahead.
